The annual kickoff is an opportunity for all employees to align on company goals and strategic direction for the year ahead. Penta Security CEO, Taekyun Kim outlined three key themes for 2025: “Focus on Purpose,” “With A.I.,” and “Expanding Business Partnerships.”
Regardless of external changes, staying focused on purpose and priorities ensures that we remain on the right path. CEO Kim emphasized the importance of “Focus on Purpose,” highlighting how a clear vision helps us set meaningful goals and build a strong, competitive organization.
To strengthen our competitive edge, we must also prepare for the future. “With A.I.” , reflects the growing influence of artificial intelligence as a dominant megatrend. Having already laid the foundation for AI driven transformation, Penta Security is ready to integrate AI into various aspects of our business this year.
Finally, “Expanding Business Partnerships” will be a key focus area, as we collaborate with both domestic and international partners to tackle pressing cybersecurity challenges.

Following the business strategy presentation, we moved on to the most anticipated moments of the kickoff—recognizing outstanding employees. We celebrated this year’s promotions and honored employees with awards such as the Pentastic Award and Best Communication of the Year. Winners received well-deserved recognition, along with personal development grants as a token of appreciation for their contributions. Flying Around the World: Cloudbric Turns 10!
Launched in 2015 as South Korea’s first cloud security SaaS platform, Cloudbric is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. During the kickoff, we watched a special video featuring reflections from employees who have witnessed Cloudbric’s incredible journey over the past decade.
A great security solution must be both powerful and user-friendly. Cloudbric has achieved this balance, earning recognition in over 150 countries worldwide. To ensure that even more users can enjoy a secure, worry-free digital experience, Penta Security will continue working closely with its teams in Japan and Vietnam to enhance Cloudbric’s capabilities.
