Securing the Road to the Future
What is the ITF and the CPB?
The International Transport Forum (ITF) is an intergovernmental organization with 54 member countries that facilitates global dialogue for better transport. Penta Security has joined the Corporate Partnership Board (CPB) of the Forum in October 2019 to work with other members of the board and the ITF on projects related to shared mobility, innovation, and the decarbonization of transport.
Penta Security and the 3rd UN Ministerial Conference
The ITF has held the 3rd UN Ministerial Conference on Road Safety <Innovation, Emerging Mobility Trends, and the Role of the Private Sector in Road Safety> on 18th February 2020 at Volvo Studio Stockholm. Seokwoo Lee, CEO of Penta Security, had participated in a session where road safety and autonomous vehicles were touched upon by numerous discussants from Volvo Group, Michelin, ABInBev, NTU Athens, and PTV Group.
The main topics dealt during the conference were in regard to nature, timing, and scope of regulatory action regarding automated and self-driving vehicles. Additionally on key challenges and proposals for different automation strategies, which eventually will lead to solving safety threats of the future driving and connected environment.

Securing the Road to the Future
The International Transport Forum at the OECD works for transport policies that improve peoples’ lives. Its mission is to foster a deeper understanding of the role of transport in economic growth, environmental sustainability, and social inclusion and to raise the public profile of transport policy.
In order for Penta Security to work and develop together with the only global body that covers all transport modes, it is considering the back-end server all the way to the modules that make the critical decisions required in the automotive technology and autonomous driving environment, such as increasing the global presence in V2X, V2G security (electric vehicle security), and especially in the European market to meet the direction and regulations that present the guidance to the future environment.
Penta Security will keep pushing the industry forward by applying decades of experiences into new environments, in addition to participating in smart highway projects. Penta Security constantly seeking to provide a complete answer to the world’s cybersecurity problems, freeing clients from unnecessary search costs and maintenance costs.
